Access to all HGS web services including Web Site, Moodle VLE and email will be interrupted between midnight Friday 24th July and 6am Monday 27th July. Access during this period will be intermittent.

This is due to the local authority carrying out essential maintenance to their systems and is out of the direct control of HGS. 

The school apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.

Former student Esther Momcilovic will face the the questioning of Jeremy Paxman when she represents Clare College, Cambridge on University Challenge. The programme will be broadcast on BBC2 at 8.00 p.m. on Monday 27th July.

Ms Griffiths would like to thank everyone who donated to her Ironman appeal, enabling her to raise almost £800. Ms Griffiths completed the race in 12 hours and 4 minutes, coming third in her category. She says it was the hardest thing she has ever done but that it was an amazing experience.

Parents and pupils in Year 7 to 10 are warmly invited to attend our celebration evening on Wednesday 15th July when this year's prize winners will be able to receive their awards.  The school will be open between 5.00pm and 7.00pm and the presentations will be made throughout the evening in each departmental area.
